KMW Energy Group provides combustion and gasification systems for biomass utilizing moving grate technology. KMW has designed and installed over 120 installations in North, Central & South America combusting wood waste, construction waste, agricultural waste, RDF pellets, peat, and bio-solids, to produce steam for drying, process, district heating and/or power generation. Power generation capacities range from 1-10 MWe.
KMW’s modular components are tested and certified at the factory before shipment to reduce capital costs, installation costs and provide for faster start-up/commissioning. KMW technologies are well suited for sawmills, pulp & paper mills, power generation, food processing, and any industry where steam is required, and a ready supply of biomass is available.
